Terra Nova’s Body Toning program is a holistic approach to achieving a a better looking body shape. Working perfectly in conjunction with Lumologie Cellulite Reduction, we use EMS (electronic muscle stimulation) not only for body toning, but also for fat reduction, to reduce fluid retention and for improved lymphatic flow.

EMS was originally created for people unable to move muscles voluntarily. Nerve stimulation at muscle insertion and origination points improved blood flow through the muscle, reducing atrophy and increasing comfort levels. However, EMS not only improves comfort levels and body health, it is also able to improve muscle tone and muscle strength in the same way that weight bearing exercise can.

Applying the same principles as exercise professionals will, we design programs for people based on their needs and their goals. EMS sessions are conducted ideally twice per week in the clinic, with at home circuit style programs designed for each individual to be done outside of the clinic. These will be straightforward exercise ideas you can fit in with your lifestyle.

Our goal with EMS is not only to kick start your new look and improve body tone electronically, but to also teach you how to maintain and continually improve on the changes as time goes by.
