Mono Polar Radio Frequency Fat Reduction
This exciting new treatment for fat loss is gaining in momentum in the USA - particularly in image conscious California, and is now available at Terra Nova Body Clinic.
Working most effectively on deposits of fat like belly rolls, hip handles, bat wings on the back of arms - a radio frequency current is passed between two poles. The result is generation of heat deep in the dermis - a depth of penetration not able to be targeted with IPL or other heat based treatments.
Adipose tissue (fat) is particularly receptive to the RF current and becomes heated very easily by the treatment, while vital organs and muscle tissue remain unaffected. As a result, the fat tissue breaks down, allowing elimination through the body's waste system. In addition, the heat from the RF signal causes an increased production of collagen in the dermal layers of the skin - forming a tighter network and a firmer looking body tissue - it's all good news!

How many treatments will I need?
This depends on a number of factors. A small tummy roll will need about 5 treatments. For a larger tummy, 10 - 15 treatments might be required. Key factors include your health and the efficiency of your lymphatic system, how regularly you intake quality protein in your diet, how much water you drink, whether or not you undertake any regular exercise during the treatment process.
Does it hurt?
NO. The technician will be talking to you continually during the treatment about how much you feel from the treatment head. We will increase and decrease the power accordingly.
Is the result permanent?
No. If you over eat you will gain the fat again. We will do our best to coach you on healthy lifestyle eating during the treatment process, and will give you loads of information on which foods to eat and not eat so that you don't regain weight. The rest is over to you!
